Morning All,
My wife and I have decided it may be time to further our Land Rover collection from our Series II SWB and Series III Game. We are currently looking at a Perentie as our ultimate adventure vehicle. I have used/worked with Perenties with work, admittedly more loading them onto transport aircraft. We believe that this vehicle is most likely to give our family the same experiences that we used to share in our topless Series II, a but with enough room to fit more than 2 dogs in the back.
I was looking for peoples experiences on modifications, especially adding a set of ford facings seats to the rear of a GS. There is a few forum discussions which generally point to talking to a local engineer, has any actually completed this successfully? Ours kids are only small and would need to have appropriate integrated restraints. Whatever the solution, we would require it to be acceptable in any state that we could be posted to (currently NSW) . This will be a go/no go for adding the vehicle to the family, we already have 2 three seat land rovers which are both too small to fit us all in together
If someone has been successful, was there any requirement to add to the roll over protection?
As a family arts and crafts activity, we plan of repainting the perentie matt marine blue at home with rollers. Anything I should know about rubbing down the cam?
Thanks for any advice in advance.
Ben
