It's simple Mars, bitcoin is an anonymous, untraceable and unaccountable form of currency that is primarily used by terrorists, drug empires, gun runners, scammers and crooks to transfer huge sums of money around the world to finance their illegal activities. This is its primary reason for being though the tin hat and 'prepper' brigades will disagree as it makes their commercial activities more transparent should the guvmint really care what the lunatic fringe is up to.
IMO banning the use of bitcoin would make the world a better place.

I cant see how banning crypto currencies will "make the world a better place" ? Kinda a ridiculous statement to me when you consider the pain and punishment inflicted by the greenback, the yen and all other nation based fiat currencies against all walks of life over the last few hundred/ thousand years.
Nope, like it or not, crypto currencies are here to stay, the nations who own fiat currencies are simply going to try to regulate crypto and force them to run through exchanges ( and give up peer to peer anonimity) - though its highly unlikely any attempt to do that will be successful...fascinating stuff really, well worth watching form the sidelines - and certainly no reason to hate on the crypto - they have a lot going for them.

I've done a lot of mill clean-ups over the years. Unfortunately, I don't get to keep the proceeds. [bawl]

Bitcoin is hated because others dont own the currency and cant regulate it...
Most currencies world wide belong to one entity and they dont own Bitcoin...
The terrorist link is bull and a false flag to make people target Bitcoin...
Gold trading was banned years ago because of the regulation problem, world trade is done with US dollars for this reason...
China and Russia have been causing waves by trading in there own currency...
If the World continues to trade in a single currency and gets rid of all transactions outside of that currency, then guess what?
Terrorists would not trade in a controversial currency for fear of loosing funds and being discovered easily, on the other hand, media is out to help the bidding of the world paper currency owners.. so you put two and two together!
Only one group control currency in the world, they also own 99% of all currency... They do not want competition, they want there monopoly on the world, currency, people, control!

I have relined hundreds of Mills at various Gold mines and occasionally I have seen nugget sized lumps but mostly it is in tiny specks.
On many occasions the Gold recovered from the old linings will pay for the reline, Even if it is only tiny specks.

Bitcoin and all other “funny money” are just used to dodge Civic tax and have untraceable “funds” rolling around, as until you withdraw it into something tangible there is no record of who you actually are.
Electronic money will be the undoing of financial systems when it’s finally hacked.
Remember. You can’t live on electronic pulses!

Yep - going by one or two of the comments I've read on here, must be about time to trade in a bit of gold on some tinfoil again .........................
