we have had a blackout since 2am this morning, whole court plus service road is out. Seems that they dont know what the issue is and want to disconnect the power from our fuse box [bighmmm] , looks like a candle lit dinner tonight.

17 hours without power, could be worse but longest period for a blackout we have had.

We had a blackout in our street on Sunday night too. Proves nothing except something failed.

I have a nice little genset sitting at my mates workshop (10KVA Kubota) - I'll be dusting it off and dragging it home soon. I picked it up years ago, but I'm starting to think I'll actually need it sometime soon. [bigwhistle]
