Eaton Series 300 mirror controller - where can I get one

I pulled the mirror controller out of the side mirror of my 2006 disco 3. It is made by Eaton, a series 300. The Eaton website has them as the controller for passenger cars.

does anyone know what other cars have the same mirror controller, I'd like to get a replacement as mine is damaged but would prefer not to pay Land Rover prices.

I'd be happy to get a second hand one if I knew which vehicles they were fitted to.

Well the plan was not working so I phone the local Britpart supplier. They did not have one in stock and wanted $85 and 3 wks for it to arrive with them.

The local Land Rover dealer had one in, genuine Land Rover part $83 (with memory). [bigsmile]

The best bit is that it is a part that can be purchased separately. Apparently most brands do not stock the motor and force you to buy a new side mirror assembly.

As for swapping them over, once you have taken the glass off you can get to the motor and one screw later your done.

I suggest you try this fix if you can here your mirror motor moving but the glass does not move.
