One of the things I love reading here is this section. I noticed that not many people have put in their vehicles in there - or updated them.

Any chance a few people could organise some pictorials etc - it's always good to see how people go about building what they need!

As bigbugga went AWOL for a while it was difficult to organise, but now that he's back we should get a few more in there, and others updated.

Agree, Maybe similar to the Outer Limits one in the Riover section, post up when you like and update.

People like to see how each other's Landies are going and there development.

Just a thought.

The idea of locking it is (was) that people could update their stories as needed but the forum wouldnt get cluttered by peoples responses / questions amd other remarks.

What do people think of having the forum unlocked BUT any posts by those other than the thread orginator (ie vehicle owner) disallowed / removed ?? Would that be a better solution.

I think the idea about locking it off was to stop huuge threads about the vehiclea sna d keep threads focussed in other areas of the site..... i guess thats one way to look at it

if people want to add to Readers Rides forum just pm me with your contribution and ill add it.

Whats is wrong with that, when the questions are probably specifically about the modifications or any other aspects of that particular vehicle.

Thats the idea.

It certainly would be easier and people more likely to add stuff if they could do it themselves.

Would have to adopt a hard line 100% pruning policy to comments by those other than the owner, on the featured rides forum.

Workable ?

Sounds fair.

It'as much easier for the individual to update there rig's specs than the moderators, who have other priorites to attend to on the site.

Not updated because I have been to slack to write up the next sections.


A: drivline upgrade.
B: brake upgrade.

and waiting to do next lot of changes.

However - I do have an excuse, as I can't do anything about updates until May when I get back to Tassie and see my beloved again! (my Landy - what else! :oops: )
