Hi All,
Trying to remove my centre consul. Have removed 2 bottom screws. The consul now seems attached at the top. Any hints on removing it appreciated.

2 more to find .... Either under 'cup holder' or under caps in main compartment

My apologies. By centre consul I meant the panel my radio and various switches sit in. [tonguewink]

There are another couple of screws at the top hidden by the top panel of the dash and of course the whole top panel has to come off to get at them!
Land Rover how could you:bat:
Unless there is some other sneaky way I don't know about?..

Had mine out recently - 4 x large screws on top plus 2 in each demister vent plus one either side of centre console going up into top panel plus end caps. Then you'll get to the three screws securing the top of the centre console - be careful as the top securing points of the console are plastic and are prone to breaking.

Thank You Mr Xtreme,
Got it off today. I am planning on piggy backing off my ciggy lighter socket to power my GPS - if all goes to plan.

I had mine off to do similar - fitted a dual USB socket on each side of the console. One connected to the auxiliary battery and one to the accessories circuit.
Out of the way and eliminated cables running running from cig lighter and hanging around the gear stick etc waiting to be caught by something.
