Seems confusing from reading the comments, which account do you believe? I've read Andy's B20 book and the one about how he started out in the army and S.A.S.

Andy McNab is not his real name. I can't vouch for the veracity of his story, I guess you have to keep an open mind. I do know there are a couple of Brit. former SAS here who normally would not speak a word about their service, but who get most vocal about Mr McNab.
