Which preloaded street navigation software (e.g. City Navigator, Destinator etc) do you reckon has the most complete details of minor dirt roads and tracks for the whole of Australia?
I plan to have OziExplorer also, but what voice guidance software would get me further off the main roads before I would need to revert to the laptop and Ozi?
Cheers

Bit of a bummer.
I’ve been trying to find a way to have my cake and eat it too.
I’ve been checking (on the net) simple, very easy to use voice guided systems for my wife’s car which could come with software with the majority of roads “off the beaten track”. Destinator seemed to fit the criteria for the software but there is no way she would use a PDA. I’m not real keen on PDAs either. One of the real simple units is the Garmin Street Pilot C320 but, as far as I can tell, all Garmins only load City Navigator which may not include out of the way destinations.
There is one which may fit the bill. It is the Destinator ND. It looks to me like a cross over between a PDA and a dedicated in car unit. Has anyone had any experience with this unit? If so, would a totally computer illiterate person (when by herself) have any difficulty with the Destinator ND?
I still plan to use OziExplorer on the laptop for more remote areas and would have liked to have had Destinator or similar loaded also.

Please disregard my question concerning the Destinator ND. After reading some of the many problems expressed in reviews on a couple of technical forums, I'm not going near it. The voice guided instructions still have a multitude of problems so it seems.
