In Perth, on the first Sunday of each month, we have the Classic Car and Coffee show in the car park at the Univerity of Western Australia. Every month it gets bigger and bigger.
Septembers show attracted over 350 classic and interesting cars. What makes this totally free show so great, is that it is all about the cars and their owners. No-one telling you if your car is good enough or flashy enough, it's just about people and the cars they love. If you think your car is interesting then come along. As a result, you get huge variety and a more eclectic mix of cars than any other event.

For the last 2 shows, I have taken my 1953 Land Rover Series 1 80" and the old girl gives the public so much pleasure. Children love it because of the inward facing rear seats. I'm happy for them to climb in and out, but no cars are roped off. Old guys love it because they either have fond memories of Land Rovers generally or many, like me, learned to dive in a Land Rover in their youth. You park between a Bentley Continental drop head and D type Jag one month, and between a Fiat 500 and an EH Holden the next.
