Disco Sport Mods - Help needed from Disco Sport owner

Hi, First post here.
I am waiting for my Discovery Sport HSE Luxury 2018 to be delivered in end of November. I'd rather be in a coma for the next two months ... I am keeping sane by preparing for the arrival by working on a few mods ...
I plan to build a custom Carbon Fibre and Chrome tail pipe to fit over the stock pipe ...
and a carbon fiber framed and steel mesh cage for my 40kg dog to go ... (my wife is shaking her head)

Can some one please send me the measurement of the tail pipe diameter ...

my dealer is 30km away and don't know anyone who has a Disco Sport to measure myself - Sadly all my friends drive Prado's and Pajero's ... they think I am crazy ...

Interesting mods ;)
Not sure if you have the 5 or 7 seater (in case there is a difference). Mine is 2016 model, so presuming it is the same there are 2 x 2 inch pipes off the muffler. These have chrome exhaust tips attached, I cant measure those now, but I think around 3 inch OD.

I came from a Prado and to be honest it is best described as "evolution". The DS is a step forward in refinement. My old girl was a tank in comparison and I haven't missed it yet.

While the Prado is an excellent vehicle I struggled with the truck like drive ... two of my friends have 2017 models but I still wasn't convinced I wanted one ... they have volunteered to tow me out if I get stuck ... having driven big american and Aussie sedans I needed a car like drive ...
Yes I am happy with my choice ... the wait is killing me though ...
