Hi,

Just downloaded some input fuelling mode file from the nanocom and they will not display as a table in excel?? appear to have ; in the spaces between the numbers and all numbers are combined in one cell/line????

I've logged files previously in instrument mode and these display without manipulation i.e. just open and headers line up with readings etc.

Any ideas??

Cheers Lemo

The nanocom unfortunately uses a non standard CSV format.

In excel delete the first couple of lines till you reach the header name row. Select the column with the data and go to the data tab and select convert text to rows, choose delimited and select ; as the delimiter click ok and you should be ok.

As I'm in the iPad the above is from memory but it should be close enough that you'll be able to muddle through.

cheers

Steve

Save the CSV file in the computer, open excell blank page, go to Data - File - "From text" select the csv where you saved it and open next as "delimited", put ; as "others" delimiter then next and finish
