I'm still weighing up my options.
Does any know how complete is the TravRoute CoPilot software. Does it include minor country roads, or 4x4 tracks etc?
The TravRoute CoPilot 8 is available to load direct onto a PC or laptop. Could be a viable option if it's not just cities and highways.

Hi Incisor
Can you give me some idea of what you don't like about it?
Crap in the city, or crap in the country?
Thanks

my wifes broom has a better sense of direction than copilot does.
i live at a place called godwin beach, i wanted to travel to cleveland on the south side of the river, copilot wanted me to go via donnybrook and then to landsborough before heading back down to cleveland via the hiway i had to use to go to landsborough!
another occassion i wanted to go from Rosalie to Ashgrove, copilot wanted me to go via west end....
there are heaps more instances.....
no thanks https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I appreciate the information.
I'm not real familiar with the areas north of Brisbane but do know the general locations. What you say is exactly what I don’t want to get stuck with. I would have preferred to hear the product was bulletproof with great directions every time, but your experiences are probably more valuable. I’ll keep looking at other options.
Cheers,
