Green box issue (something to do with immobilizer I think)

Looking for a solution hit a ditch going little fast last night and the little green box in passenger foot well is having a fit flashing indicators my current quick fix disconnect it that works while vehicle is running but you need to hook it up again to start. Is there anyway to quickly reset it or something last time I had this issue I swapped it out fora few weeks before it fixed itself

I just pulled out the hazard lights fuse. Indicators worked ok, and when I replaced the fuse a week or so later, no more problem. That was over a year ago, and it hasn't come back.
