Cetane levels Gull/Puma vs BP in WA

Given I can usually get Gull diesel (direct import from Singapore?) for anything up to 10c/L cheaper than the BP sourced versions in Perth, I was wondering if there was any difference in power levels. Can't say I've noticed anything, but interested in words from those in the know.

It might be placebo effect but I reckon my Defender runs better / more smoothly on BP diesel than Caltex, Gull etc.
