How much paint required ?

Hi All,

I'm getting close to the point where I'll need to purchase paint, and I am planning on going for Deep Bronze Green.

With my vehicle being a 109" soft top, I'd like to know how much paint I should purchase.

From what I understand about the different paint types and their pros and cons, I think I'll go for acrylic. I assume I'd be looking 2-3 coats.

Any suggestions about how much paint to buy would be appreciated.

Is it just the outside you're doing or everything inside, under the bonnet, etc? You can generally put 3 coats on the outside of a car with 4 litres no dramas, but if you're doing everything, I'd double that.

Thanks for the response. I guess outside and inside would be best, but i hadn't thought about the bonnet, guess I should so that too.

So, sounds like 8L - 10L required.
