Range Rover Sport goes plug-in | GoAuto (https://www.goauto.com.au/new-models/land-rover/range-rover-sport/range-rover-sport-goes-plug-in/2017-10-04/66301.html)
"It will be just the first such electrified vehicle from JRL which has promised to introduce a form of electric propulsion in all of its Land Rover and Jaguar models by 2020."
Good news for me. Should have cracked 500,000 in my Disco by then.[biggrin]

Heresy ! - Using 'fuel', and 'efficient' in the same sentence...
But a PHEV makes more sense - especially in Oz - than a 100% battery-electric. The worst that can happen is to lose acceleration and top speed (?) Range would be...car-normal.
Seriously, a question: Does "everyone" use the same power plug & sockets for their electric plug-in cars ? I noticed a TESLA "pump" on an intra-state highway over here. (Between 'Retirement' town and Perth City.)
- Would it be too much to hope that they've already had the discussion, and agreed on a single re-charge plug & voltage ?
