Did anyone watch the Japanese Moto GP at Motegi. On of the best races I've ever seen. Passing in the wet between the two leaders multiple time on the last few laps - breathtaking. I was trying to pat the dog while I was watching it and found myself grabbing her ears a few times - sorry Penny! Such a clincher!! Wow.
I watch F1 every now and again but it has nothing on Moto GP. Moto GP has little to no aero, more rider input and just amazing racing.
Wow

Just watched the last 10minutes on F506 it doesn't get much better does it, I like the moto 3 you get 5 bikes close at the front it can be interesting.
Pity Jack was out he goes alright in the wet.

Could have been a different result for both riders on the last corner......2 DNF's

Did not realise that it was on - until I saw the results on the news. What happened to Rossi?
I really enjoy watching any class of motorcycle racing.
F1 bores me now. To me it is all about the qualifying - the race results seem to mimick the qualifying results. The most exciting part about a F1 race are the first two corners and the first two laps.

Rossi crashed out about halfway through the race.
I think the rear tyre lost grip.

Well PI didn't fail to deliver... Moto3 was absolutely awesome - less than 3 seconds separating the top 20 on the last lap!
And the MotoGP - well, that was incredible too. In the supercars they 'swap paint' -in MotoGP they leave rubber on competitors leathers...
Would have been a great year to actually be at the Island but watching on TV was not too bad....

PI did not disappoint. Only watched on the telly.
Worst part was I owe a mate a bottle of JD - He goes for Honda and I am a Yamaha follower.
I really thought the Ducati's would have been up front in the mix of things.

Moto GP does not really interest me, but unlike some on here, who deride Supercars when they really know very little about it, I certainly do appreciate the skill & BRAVERY & speed, of the riders, Rossi being my favorite.
The angles that some of these guys achieve, where they overtake, & the risks they take when doing so in some circumstances is, well IMHO, unbelievable! Quote from Valentino after P.I...."All the riders in front of me were so aggressive, so you need to be even more stupid than them"!!!
So while it's not my go, BIG respect to the riders for their skill & bravery from me.
Jack Miller seems to be going OK too.
F1?..well although I don't watch it much, IMHO I think it's still considered to be the pinnacle of Motorsport. I know that with the ongoing superiority of Mercedes I suppose invariably we know which team will win, but then again the technology involved in the cars is unreal.

I too appreciate the skill and sacrifices drivers / riders have and go through to be where they are at on a professional level.
What I like most about Moto GP is that it is very hard to predict who is going to win the race - many times it has come down to the last corner on the last lap. If they are not fighting it out for first - their is much position swapping in the the minor placings aswell.
I use to enjoy watching the V8's - there is something missing in it for me now - and you have to admit that under the outer shell they all share the same basic architecture and then the F1 - the race results pretty much follows the qualifying order - and after the first two laps, unless someone screws up or the team gets their strategies wrong.
The Moto GP - the lean angles they achieve has a lot to say about the tyre technology - Mick Doohan use to wear the sides out of his boots, now you see riders with sliders on their elbows.
