If you cruise by a Dicky Smith store, you might see a RC Toy Ford F350 truck for sale. No surprises there, but wait till you see what they shod it with: (Mind you this pic is of the real thing)

I had to check whether or not the toy makers were closet LR fans - apparantly in the states, MATTRACK make these conversions for various 4wd and other vehicles.

And, for the uninitiated, Land Rover were there first with the CUTHBERTSON CONVERSION some 40 plus years ago.

Do you call that articulation or steering the boat?

And what's the watering can on the front?

Fine looking machine.

If I took that on the Simpson Desert I wouldn't have to worry about getting a compressor for tyre pressures, or getting a sand flag. And I could camp in the shade of the chassis.

G'day Folks https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
I have the Chassis of the Aust Army Test Vehicle, it was apparently returned to standard and ended it career as a driver instruction vehicle at Enoggera Barracks in Brisbane with dolly wheels fitted https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ It was by the way a Series 2 with a 151*****chassis no.
