I asked BFG about when they were going to release the new KM3 and one of their people actually replied to me with this:

We plan to launch new Mud Terrain T/A KM3 in approx. July 2018. Please follow up more details on BFG website or Facebook page early next year.

So not for a little while yet, looks like I'll have to buy something else in the meantime, bummer!

BFG will probably stagger the release of the tyres, the most popular sizes will arrive first.

As what happened with the KO2.

Some sizes took many months to arrive after the first lot.

Haha let's compare the new KM3 to the not even thought of Cooper STZ and Goodyear MTR with BULLETS!!!

C'mon I haven't read anywhere this information on the release of this dumb tyre, this is a world premier of information right here on AULRO :D

I'd like to know what improvements the KM3 will have over the KM2...

I had KM2 on a Cruiser and they are now on my friends, wifes cruiser.. She loves them and has forgotten what the little gear stick next to main one, is for...

She does as much on bitumen as on dirt and there drive way is a dry only for cars, but her cruiser just drives up, my disco gets up the drive ok but when its light rain after a few dry days, it struggles... Those KM2's have impressed me and doing the same for others...

It looks like it's the KM2 tread with the newer KO2 sidewalls, and judging by how they changed the rubber compound on the KO2 then the KM3 will most likely have some rubber technology upgrades too that will give you some silly percentage increases in handling over 15mm rocks as opposed to 5mm rocks...or some such malarkey.

Haha I want to be like the American forums where all they do is talk about tyres...or tires ;)

Just to drag this thread up again after searching for KM3[biggrin]

The good news with it's release is that they have a 7.50r16 at last.

So hard to find any decent 7.50's these days so I am glad they have bought them out.

Hey thanks Lewy, good to know! I’ll be grabbing some.
