Hi All,

Have two smart meters in a box between 2 posts outside, fed by standard underground cable in conduit, 600mm down in the ground.

The whole unit needs to be moved 3 metres sideways. There is no need to lengthen or shorten cable and conduit, just needs to go in a different trench.

What is involved? Anything I should be aware of?

Creative responses appreciated!

cheers, DL

Supply authority needs to isolate the power, then whole lot can be relocated. Electrician needs to make sure its all up to scratch, certificate provided, electrical inspector signed off, supply authority re connects power.

What Damien said - it's Prescribed wiring so Inspection and Prescribed Cerificate of Electrical Safety required.

Maybe you don't want any more Sparkies to answer... [bigwhistle]
