Hi VRambo
I believe Sim Card and HDMI come standard. The Sim Card is so maps can use live data etc and its a subscription to land rover so they would have that in each car. The HDMI is just an interface to the incontrol screen.
What comes in a pack is if you order the Screens for the Headrests for the rear passengers. Then you get 2 Extra HDMI ports in the back for the kids to plug their devices into.
ps. 29th Dec... Nice christmas present. :)

Was at the dealers yesterday getting the wifes disco sport serviced so i asked the salesman about my HSE and if would definitely come with HDMI port and sim-card which he replied i dont think it does so went and had a look at a HSE with no TV, dual screen or entertainment and behold it didnt have either which a lot of people said it comes standard "heart broken" [bigsad].
Dealer told that they have had that many people order a new disco only to find out what they thought was standard is only standard overseas which is a shame.
Now can any one tell me is the incontrol touch pro on the HSE allows mirroring from your phone via bluetooth? as i take it you cant use a usb to watch anything if i dont have TV ect.

Just a standar HSE with no entertainment extras?? All the HSE at the dealer ship had was 2 USBS and a 12v in the centre console.

You could be in luck VRAMBO. I must admit the options are so confusing. More so back when I ordered my car and even the salesman had no idea. And yes make sure they supply the tow ball. I picked up car and was so excited forgot to check. They have since supplied it.
Also check your carpets but I saw last night to make it a bit clearer that the luxury carpets are extra. The carpets supplied are pretty **** to be honest. There was a lot of confusion around carpets.

I was just looking through redbook and saw that the 2017 MY17 does not have the hdmi port noted in standard accessories which may explain why the ones at the dealer which are demos havnt got it but the 2017 MY18 does.
Question is if im getting my car mid december what are the chances its a 2017 MY18??

I can't remember for certain or if it's earlier but, I think the new MY year begins in October so If your car is built from then onwards it will be MY of the next year.
In my case my car was built last half of October '15 (on my birthday actually) but is a MY16 spec - picked up the car mid December.

Reading a UK site, they started building the 2018 models in November sometime.

Interesting, once you get a VIN pop it into TOPIX and see what it says. It will be interesting to know how it has it recorded.

I checked TOPiX the moment I got the VIN, says model year: 2017 also found it has privacy glass and TPMS which slipped through the dealer's notice and so no charge options. I brought this as a prebuilt car.

Got my VIN today and checked Topix. Car is a 2017 No HDMI port. Seems to me like everyone whos has the hdmi port must have either the dual vision screen or digital tv.
Also would topix show gesture tailgate?? As i ordered it and its not in the specs on Topixs[bighmmm]

It may be listed in a way you don't expect. For my car it is listed as:
TLGTE/BLID-POWERED HANDS FREE

Picked up the car today. SD4 HSE MY17. Dont need to worry about the HDMI port as i found out it has a cd player and it plays dvd and can watch movies through the usb. I havnt got any entertainment pack what so ever. So does everyone else with a standard HSE also play dvds??
The dealer didnt even know that it had a cd player.

Yes I think most relatively recent models(last couple of years at least) in the Land River line up will have the ability play DVD's. The only thing is that if you don't have the dual view screen, the video will be blanked out as soon as the car starts moving - the sound will continue to play.
