What annoys me sometimes is that Britain and France , and the Commonwealth had been in this from 1914, 4 hard years with many, many casualties. They'd done the hard yards. Then along came the USA, right at the end, and claim to have won the war. One fact the USA will not admit to, is that the first American soldiers to fight in WW1 were under Australian command. And, we should never forget, that without the massive French sacrifice at Verdun, the Germans would have taken Paris.
