Given that I work with engine control, micro processors and HMI's every day, this certainly brings out the geek in me thinking of it's possibilities. I like it a lot, but my guess is it won't be cheap. Having said that, I see a real market for this kind of tech.
Will be interesting to see the price point for this - given that a basic but good genset controller will set you back $700 ish and a top of the range, see all, do all system with remote Comms, touchscreen HMI is over $5,000 I'd guess $1,500 ish for this system for the back box and HMI.
I'll be looking into this.

Given that this is basically a micro with touchscreen HMI it would be confugurable to run most existing equipment you have - it's just a matter of running the existing wiring back to the back box unit which just has control of the relays built into it. You could take out a heap of switches and control it all from the touch screen.
