Hi folks,

Wonder if folks could have a quick look at their offside front hanger. Mine is oddly off centre. While there is some wear and the hole is a little elongated (just replaced the spring bolt that was worn), it is not that far out.

Let me know if your offside hanger has the hole in the middle, or it is off-centred too.

Firstly you'll confuse people on the forum with the term 'offside'. I know what you mean but others may be confused......

Haven't seen anything like that before, it doesn't look quite right. Almost looks like a disc has been welded on with an offset hole......but why ?

Was the washer welded on offset to make up for an out of tolerance chassis? That would have to be a fair bit though because I didn't think they were made to very tight tolerances.

haha sorry [wink11]

I think I have found out what it is about. Seems others have found the same on their wagons. In the jig, the holes were drilled in the correct place if the chassis was slightly out. I have found photos where there are also variations left to right.

Go figure [bighmmm]

Cheers and thanks
