Just finished a two day 4wd course in WA sand driving, river crossing and rock climbing. Highlight of the course Landy being the only 4wd on the course to make it up.
NO more Landy jokes for the rest of the course. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
second highlight pulling a Toymotor out of the sand https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Good on you.
It always amazes the tojo crowd what a landy can do, and it always will. The seem just a b-i-t s-l-o-w on the uptake untill it gets shoved in their faces.

On Ya Welshman,
I notice from earlier pics that you are a surfer. Or is it your kids?
Doesn't seem to be too many surfers at AULRO.
I find my Disco a great beach machine. Can't fit the boards inside though.

Good stuff, it is always good showing the jap crap up, and not bad for a 4wd that the tyre salesman told you was a "city 4wd". https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
3mb might be a bit large, i think they need to be below 1mb. Matt

They are pretty good performers off road, the more you do it the better the vehicle will perform as your confidence and experience grows.

Last company I worked for in central Brissie, one of the blokes there was a surfer (however I am a fisher, not a surfer  )
He use to watch the webcams almost every day in summer to see where the surf was, and was out surfing for usually 30mins => 1hour each evening after work.
So it is possible :-)
.. and congrats welshman, sounds like you had a top weekend :-) Bet you couldn't wipe that grin off your face all weekend

Possible and realistic are two different things though.
I'm usually working till late, or seeing clients in the evening, or doing something else with the 4 children :!: 8) . Think i'll leave it to the weekends....Although if I passed all of the above up, then I could surf whenever, play golf whenever and go 4WDing whenever.
Of course, I'd be eating grass and drinking puddle water, living under a cardboard box, and the only 4 wheelin would be the 4 wheels on the bus, getting to the soup kitchen & Centrelink.
If I'm livin like that I'd have to move to Byron though I guess it's not all bad https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Welshman - what page is your album on in the members gallery ? I can't find it.
Rather than pasting it as you've done, do a URL type link to the location of the video (needs to be online somewhere).
Cheers Vlad

Actions, especially Landrover actions, speak louder than any Toyota hype!

neis ysgwthr cymry (i think that's right - but you can tell me
Looks like a great outing was had. You'll be surprised how much of a difference decent rubber will make.
You'll also surprise people how much is capable with the standard tyres they come with!!

Welshman,
Who was your trip with.
I went out with one in November and had a great time.
Two landys in the trip, a Defender and my Disco.
The only vehicles that didnt need assistance the whole weekend were the Landy's and a jackeroo of all things.
Every toyota on the trip needed help of some kind
