GME spare parts

While fitting my remote head GME to the D3 on the weekend i found that the mic cord had perished badly ( not bad for a 15yo radio) and expected that i would need to buy a complete mic with cord, in my googling i came across MB radio parts based in rural Vic near Avoca and was able to get a replacement cord.
Spoke to Mike to confirm that the item on his online store was the correct item for my radio and completed the transaction over the phone and item will go out in the post today :thumbsup:. they also stock Uniden parts and other accessories.

Cord arrived yesterday so mic is now good as new .

Thanks for the info , must be something with those hand piece's as just checked mine and mine seems to have suffered the same fate.
