Hey guys,

Recently got myself a '95 RRC that I'm currently fixing up for a RWC.

Got the report back, nothing major. Only rubber items like sway bar links, control arm bushes and tie rod boots.

What are the recommended local stores to visit that would have these in stock at reasonable prices? I'm based in Melbourne so Victorian stores preferably, but any stores in the country would be good.

Thought I'll ask the forum before I send my money overseas or get gouged by a bad shop.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys! I've hit up Roverlord to see what they can do. While I have you, who would be a guru that I could take my car in for a once over? I need to wipe some lights off my dash (SRS and one other one I don't remember), but wouldn't mind getting a veteran LR/RR mechanic to go through the car and let me know exactly what condition this thing is in.

I'm in Northcote so Braeside might be juuuust a bit too far. Don't mind a trip though if it guarantees reputable service.

British Car Components is just down the road from you - about 7 or 8KM excellent service and good prices. Go say hi to Dave and the Guru. 👍

Won't get closer than that. 😊

Nice to know :)

Do they do servicing/labour work though? Hard to tell from their site, looks like they just supply parts.

Parts only, but there are shops in the area they supply to who do Land Rover work that they can recommend if you need them fitting - there's a good one about 200 metres from their door.

G`day ,

Ritters ( burwood ) extinguished the srs light on our LSE softdash when a RWC was needed but was 10 or better years ago , other place with autologic couldn`t communicated with it .

Ritters would still be my choice for having it checked out .

Northcote to Braeside makes me smile we are 160km and 2 hours from Ritters .

Spent some time as a lad in a house on separation street .

Went past Ritters today, exceptional service from Vinnie and the guys, managed to slot me in on the day and was very helpful. Highly recommend them for anyone that's looking for some help as well.
