I have two AULRO stickers on my ute. One is crooked. Must have been printed that way - no chance it could have been me screwing up in applying it.... [bigwhistle]

They are a bit brighter than the previous ones which were more discreet on Rangies . [bigrolf]

Yes Inc, discovered that today, taking the top layer off also lifted some of the letters from the screen and now a few bubbles.[bigsad] will have to get the zit pin out and let the air out [bigrolf]

Based on the last ones purchased about 3 years ago, I'm going to try a different approach this time. I'll use a plastic sleeve and put them on the inside rear windows ie not stick them down. Then maybe they wont fall apart gradually in the sun/weather?

My old ones never peeled in fact when I sold the D2 I couldn't even remove it with a razor blade, but they were not vinyl cut.
I think its all in the application.
No instructions on how to apply, I have in the past put vinyl cut decals on my boat hull and used a squirt of soapy water, then fit the decal and squeegy to apply. not sure on these ones if you can use that method or whether you have to fit them dry?
Inc might weigh in.

Here you go.....

I am told the stickers will finally be delivered to me tomorrow if all goes to plan...

Once we get them they will be mailed as quickly as we can get them out.

Instructions for fitting them below

Sign industry standard
Installation of stickers

You will need:
Metho
Clean rag (something that won't leave lint)
Measuring tape or ruler
Masking tape
Stiff plastic card with straight edge, like a credit card.
(Signwriters use application squeegees (https://www.rtmediasolutions.com.au/product/economy-blue-squeegee/) )

Method

Clean surface the sticker is to be installed. Remove all marks, grease, oil and foreign objects. Give a final wipe with metho and wait a few seconds to dry.
Place your sticker on a flat surface and run over the top clear tape to make sure all lettering is adhered to clear application tape.
Place sticker on the substrate you want to install it to, with backing paper still on.
Use a ruler to position it where you want it to go
Use masking tape to go across the top of sticker and substrate. This holds it in position. Try to get half the tape on the sticker and the other half on the substrate.
Flip the sticker over. The tape will hold in place.
Peel the paper backing off.
Flip sticker back over, avoiding touching the surface and keeping light tension. Hold it as close to the surface as you can without touching.
Use your card, starting from the tape at the top and apply pressure. Work your way down the sticker
Remove making tape.
Remove clear application tape.

If you have any bubbles in the vinyl, you can leave in the sun. Heat helps remove them. If the bubbles are still there you can pop with a pin and smooth out.

and a little movie for you
