Hi All,

I thought that I would start up a thread - on your Registered Land Rovers..... It doesn't matter which model or range, civilian or military (Dinty...) as long as it's Registered and a Landy! [thumbsupbig]

This is our home fleet.

The 300Tdi is the project. The Td5 Ute I have had since new and is my daily drive. The black shorty is the Bosses daily drive and we got that last year.

Thanks GG. My biggest issue will be finding a photo that is not polluted by unregistered trash....

I think your photos more than anything are a great advertisement for a workable Historic vehicle rego scheme... [bigsmile1][bigsmile1]

May be a few weeks before it's registered and named, but we just bought a D2 to add to the D1 and the P38A
We weren't going to get anything for a while, but $400 for a td5 auto was a bit too hard to ignore

Wow! Would love a 101 but am not ‘allowed’ one, just yet anyway! I had a short series three same colour 30 odd years ago. Sold it to a guy who had seven of them in 1984!

G'day pop58 and zeros , thanks it was very very hard as I think the 300tdi is better than the Puma in the transmission department and fuel economy was brilliant ,the new owner UK born , emailed me that he and girlfriend really appreciate it as he being a defender fan , thats great!
I would not hesitate at all buying another defer 300tdi once I went through it thoroughly, I love that engine.
The 3 door canvas top rolled up and the vents opened during summer and just cruise is the best feeling ever. .

Having a hard time with this little lot and finding group pics,,, you'll notice there are three in each pic,,, somehow,, that means one HAS to go [bigsad]
She's a hard woman sometimes,,, [bigwhistle] but I do love her dearly [biggrin][thumbsupbig]

So the D1 V8 was the car I had when we met,,, we then bought the D2 V8 (awesomely beautiful car to drive,, rarely hit the dirt though) Then we bought the Defender,,, D1 had to go [bigsad] , then the D2 went because I rarely drove it, and our boss at work wanted it to tow his boat [bighmmm]. Then we bought the D4,,, well, what can be said really. The drive/comfort is chalk and cheese between the two, my backs now pretty much stuffed now,, so the Defender is not getting used, but I do love it [bigwhistle].
So then, we decide we want something old [bigwhistle],,, so, the S2a arrives,,,, woahh,,, she tells me then the Defender has to go [bigsad]

So now, we only have the D4 and the S2a,,,, But life's good and I'm happy, as is SWMBO [biggrin] When we finish trippin', and we get a couple of acres,,, all bets are off on how many I'll have [wink11]

Quite dreadful, actually. That's why all my vehicles receive corrosion protection treatment every year and the ones I take out winter time will get an additional slab of Dinitriol or similar. Exposed parts of the chassis are even painted with protective paint from Norway, used usually on offshore fishing boats and oil rigs. As you can see on some of the pics, the salt is taking its toll, so it's about time for some maintenance and more protection. Messy job, that is...
