Hello from Singapore

Gday All ,

Arrived in Singapore today and surprised how many land rovers I have seen . Not sure why I am surprised but didn't vision Singapore and 4x4 being something I would see much of.

several RR sports and Evoques plus a couple of D4s so good to see the brand out and about.

see what the next few days throws our way .

Hi Ean, There are a couple of Land Rover clubs in Singapore, one of them just for Defender owners. This year they are organising the Land Rover Festival 2017, which is a trip through Malaysia to the North of Thailand. It was my intention to join them in Thailand, but unfortunately I will not be able to make it.

I went on a Hash Hash Harriers run in Singapore a few years ago that had a few of the Singapore Land Rover Owners club members were a part of. Quite a lot of fun running through the bush there!

I have many times driven my Defender from KL to Singapore (and back), enjoying the drive rather than fly down for meetings etc. Not that many Defenders on the road in Singapore - used to get a lot of shock/surprise looks.

Maybe it was the Malaysian rego plates that terrified them. ;). Now way less scary with NSW plates.
