Good Day Everyone I brought a 2013 Disco 4 three weeks ago and have managed to nut out nearly all the electronic mysteries except how to display tyre pressures. I switch on accessories by pressing the start button without my foot on the brake, press OK on the steering wheel and get the menu up on the dash, select Service Menu and am presented with Vehicle Vin (which does not show the VIN) and Oil Pressure (Which always shows MAX)
On a video I found it should show additional items Tyre Pressure Check, Tyre Pressure and Diesel Exhaust Fluid there simply not there.
I checked all the other menus and the only joy is under Vehicle set up I can change between light and heavy load and I did get a low pressure warning in a front tyre so its working just cannot show the pressure in each tyre.
Any help would be much appreciated
Terry.

Sounds like your Disco doesn't have TPMS. You can look up your VIN in the TOPIX system. In the list of minor features, see whether it says "LESS TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING" like mine does, meaning no TPMS for me.

Unless you have an adBlue engine, you won't have any DEF to measure a level from

When I switch the car on it comes up saying "monitoring light load" and as stated it has given me a warning of low pressure and shown which tyre is low and it has the menu item were I can change from light to heavy load. Would it do this if it was not installed? All I want to do is show the actual pressure for each tyre. BTW its a TDV6 and this was fitted as an option maybe they don't show the pressure if its fitted as an option.

You can only set the TPMS for light or heavy load and there are preset alarm points for these. The TPMS won't show the pressure.

It is still useful as it will save a tyre if you have a deflation event but you can't monitor pressure and pressure changes.

Thanks for the advice another thing I have learnt. It says TYRE PRESSURE SENSORS-433 MHZ so I guess that means it has it.
Thanks again Terry

Figured it must be something like that but did a lot of research before I asked the question and found nothing that would suggest that.
Does the pressure NOT display on all 2013 models or just TDV6 where the option has been done?

I have a 2013 Discovery 4 and was informed it does not show actual tyre pressures just a message if the pressure is low. I can live with that if its correct but when was the pressure display deleted from the menu as there is nothing to indicate anywhere on the internet that the check pressure option has been deleted from the menu. Or is just TDV6 which have had the TMPS option fitted or is it all 2013 Disco 4s

Definitely not fitted to all 2013 Disco 4s. I have an HSE 2013 D4 and it's not fitted. As mentioned above my Topix printout also says "Less Tyre Pressure Monitoring". Must have been an option.

I dont think so Martin as I said it does not have the Less Tyre Pressure Monitoring which I assume means its not fitted It has Tyre Pressure Monitoring - 433Mhz which I take to mean it is fitted and is working on that frequency. Is there any reason I should think its not fitted if it has already warned me of a low inflation and shown which tyre is under inflated when I put the recomended pressure in the warning went away. So its hard for me to comprehend why it would not be fitted.
What I dont understand is why or when they stopped allowing a tyre pressure check.

I wasn't saying that you don't have it fitted. I was only saying that it's not fitted to all 2013 vehicles as evidenced by the fact that I don't have it on an HSE model which had a lot as standard. It was made in September 2013 so you would presume it would have been fitted by then if it was standard across the D4 range for 2013. I was replying specifically to "Or is just TDV6 which have had the TMPS option fitted or is it all 2013 Disco 4s".

My new to me 2013 L405 Range Rover Vogue has the same TPMS system without the display unless there is a low pressure somewhere. You can tell that you have the TPMS by the special valve stems which contain the sensors, as per the manual. As with the D4 you can only change between low load and high load settings.
