My wife and I share the same email address. Somehow she has been bombarded with emails saying she has a bitcoin account and it is growing in value rapidly. The emails are coming from all over the place, not just one sender. I just ignore them particularly as they say she signed up. Funny, she cant use a computer to do anything other than play some games off line. They are sending me nuts.

Same here , not just bitcoin but all sorts of emails saying you have an account balance of XXXX amount waiting for you and an endless amount of so called retail store vouchers and credits.
We use Mozilla Thunderbird for an email client and have trained it to delete them as spam.

I've been forwarding my scam emails to me@rescam.org
more info here: Re:scam (https://www.rescam.org/)
It's an AI email bot which wastes scammer's time... hence giving them less time to scam actual people.
I haven't yet worked out a way to bulk forward / redirect the whole contents of my spam gmail inbox to this address though...

Me too, It's a shame the days of returning an unwanted email with an attachment of the entire contents of a WIN95 CD so that it would bog their 288 modem down for days are long gone [bigwhistle]

I've heard of sending a brick back to the junk mail people using the post paid stamps they attach to their envelopes... Not sure if it works though!

You could set up a rule to forward all emails in the junk folder.
