I have some NiMH AA's that have only about 25 recharges on them but now don't want to hold a charge properly.

What is the best way to cycle them to try to bring them back to life?

How old are they? A couple of years ago I bought new in the pack batteries for a couple of mobile phones and found them both to be stuffed. Old old stock, after a couple of years they lose their zing.

Hi Maggot4x4, first off how old are they and how much use have you got out them.

I do exactly what Zook recommended with Ni-Cads and that can some times extend their life a bit but I have never tried it with NiMH and I would suggest some caution because both types are prone to blowing up if handled incorrectly.

Chuck 'em away. Go to Jaycar, get some new ones, cost almost nothing.
