Hi all, did anyone watch the American Chopper Road trip special last night. In the first episode, i had to tape the second one, but cut to it once or twice, they were at the land rover experience centre doing the track in a D3, the got it in some pretty weird places and angles, but the D3 just took it in its stride.
Other than that they were sitting at lights in a mini van reving the engine to about 6k and then dumping the clutch to chirp the tyres, you should have seen the pedestrians run. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Very funny stuff.
If you have pay tv its worth watching, just search through your guide for the week and look for an episode of american chopper that runs for 2hrs instead of the usual 1hr. Matt

That episode has been posted on the net somewhere, can't remember where though
Try video search under Land Rover or OC's etc.
If i find it again, i'll post the address - I've got a mpeg of it saved at work.

Yeah Discovery Channel, sorry about that.
Mikey says afterwards that he wants to work for land rover as a test driver. Will be interesting to see if they get a D3 now instead of the hideous hummer they drive. matt

Discovery Channel ..... hmmmm.....
That would be on Pay TV then?
When I have seen Pay TV it seems that you get heaps of Crap for very little quality. I could not find the Defender Channel either.
Seems to a lot of ..... Yawn .... Sport on it too.

Nah, Pay TV is cool 8) love it, some really great programs and some crap ones just like free to air. Plus all the movie channels as well, doco's, for people like me the cooking shows etc,
