Just an update and a bit of a rap for Land Rover Parramatta. I have had an oil leak since buying a RR 2 weks ago and it was supposed to have ben fixed before buying the car. After driving ir back to Brisbane It was really leaking out so after getting it checked out in Bris Parramatta agreed to cover it. (over $700 fix). It is the rear transfer case seal which itself only costs about $40 the rest is labour.

I was thinkng that they would ask to do the repairs themselves in Sydney but found that fairly promptly agreed to send them the bill. Thought I would pass this on as it is always good to get what you deserve. It is only covered by the statutory waranty all second hand cars are in Aus so was happy with the result.

I assume this is Trivett?

I bought my first RR from them about 10-12 years ago. They were quite willing to do a repair on my RR under warranty even though it was a 1983 model - and they lent me an almost new Peugeot whilst my RR was in the workshop.

I have just had two brand new Disco 3 s off them ( and LRA) for evaluation for work - never found a more helpful team in motor vehicle sales - pity there is only one defender in the yard and that has been there for ages...... i dont recon they sell many defenders

Have you been chatting to DiscoTDI :?
He also tells a warranty story,
but I think from different script writers
