can anyone help me??
i have a 99 v8 auto disco2 which is holding 3rd gear until around 80kph.
mode and shift lights have flashed together indicating electrical fault in transmission (says manual) any ideas!!!

It selects 3rd gear as a limp home mode.
It might reset itself by cycling the ignition on/off but if it doesn't, it might need the fault codes checked.

Sometimes the A/C drains condensation straight onto the inhibitor switch causing all sorts of problems.

seems to have reset lights
