Here's a budget idea for water storage.
I've purchased 10 x 8 litre water bladders on ebay ($1ea). I plan to store them in a cardboard fruit box (with lid). This can be easily stacked / stored. Each day a new bladder can be placed in the fridge. As the water runs out so does the volume.
In the end the box can be collapsed and used for packing between items to reduce abrasion, or just burnt in the fire.
The bags can be partially filled and frozen before leaving home and used as ice blocks in the esky.
Much more versatile than large bladders and much much cheaper.
