Hi All,
This is my first post as a Land Rover Perentie owner. Just picked one up in the November auctions. (I also have a Disco 3 V8).
For those considering the Perentie and buying one through the auctions; I found the whole experience very straight forward and easy. I was able to inspect the vehicles ahead of the auctions dates, I even hopped in and started them in the yard. (Hooray for Keyless ignition)
I picked mine up with an unregistered vehicle permit from QLD Transport and drove it home[smilebigeye]. Changed over the key ignition barrel and key and doorlocks my self. I had the Roadworthy done by a mobile service. They upload details on the spot and I received an email immediately with certificate and number. Got it registered and received the plates the next day.
Everything works on the Perentie and it came with a full service history.
I haven’t read all the post and threads as yet , but am interested in everyone’s experience and how they find the perentie. Pictured of the beast attached.
Cheers,
Gary
