Hi guys, i have been interested in the on going thread on the LSE. I have a 1995 "Classic" and am interested in the numbers shipped to Oz. I keep getting told that these are getting rare and I know some parts are almost impossible to find. So does any one have any idea of the numbers imported and possibly work out the numbers remaining?
Cheers, Phil.

Is this the threat you looked at?

yes thats the one. It does make an interesting read. Would there be records of the number of 95 "Classics" imported to Oz? Would JLR have records? Just trying to piece together some history.

I've got one - an LSE 1994 soft dash - and have a keen interest in them overall. The figure of 150 only imported to Oz comes to mind from memory.

Ive got one two. A 95 soft dash but not the LSE.

I'm trying to put it all back to factory spec. Still need to sort out the EAS, ABS and the drivers memory seat ECU.

Parts are a bit of a pain to track down, at a reasonable price that is.

And after I fixed her up a bit. The ARB rear bar is gone now thank god, yuk and I've had the driver's seat re-upholstered.

I've watched with interest and envy your work. That is one great looking RRC.

Thanks for the information Gavin. These cars are now getting rare.
I have a 1995 "Classic", I bought mine in Melbourne in 2013, 154k, Ardenes Green, in pretty good condition. The car was first registered in Vic 27/04/1995, from, I think, Peninsular Prestige Cars in Frankston. It now lives in Sydney, 271k, still in reasonable nick, serviced regularly by Graeme Cooper Automotive. EAS, seats, mirrors, cruise etc all working. It is now on injected lpg with front and rear bars and I have just installed a 4.6. I have all the original bits including the engine, to restore to original if and when required. I know of 4 more 95's, one serviced by GCA Ardenes Green, one for sale in Melb (carsales), green, and a blue one that was up in Coffs Harbour. There was also a blue one that was in Jindabyne about 3 years ago, this one was quite rusted. These are all SE with chrome bumpers.
Mine now needs roof lining, roof and bonnet respray and a few interior plastic bits replaced. The sun roof is rusting but I have a replacement waiting in the garage. I will get around to attending to her needs one day soon.

J&A automotive trimmers did a great job on the headlining in my RRC. Less than $200 as I removed and reinstalled it myself. They're near Five Dock.
