It's just been announced that the UK LROI Magazine Forum will close on 19th December.
Looks like Farcebook has won.
Hope it's not the beginning of the end.

I presume LROI forum is tied to LROI magazine. Is that magazine still in print?
Any idea what the active member numbers were/are on LROI?
Facebook is Ok for quick "look at me" things but forums are the only truly effective way of long-term storage of information / experiences / recommendations WITH real person interaction.
Ever tried to find anything more than a few days old in a facebook group? Hopeless.
Perhaps the AULRO ranks will swell as a result of the LROI shutdown...

The magazine is certainly still in print and sold here.

Agreed! The short attention span/instant gratification generation is killing forums via Facebook.
I also read somewhere that laptop sales were slowing but had increased prices to maintain profitability due to the proliferation/popularity of smart phones with their multitude of apps.
