I am interested in any info. on preferred galvanizers for doing the capping's. I am in the Newcastle area, so if it was a perfect world , a sympathetic galvanizer in the area would be wonderful. However I am open to all suggestions and info.

Many Thanks

I had all the gal redone on my 1955 Series 1 it was done at Hunter Galvanizers Tomago about 3 years ago it is not cheap, so you need to get everything done at the same time, I think from memory it was around $200.00 at the time and done fairly quickly, you need to itemise everything, one thing you cant get done unless you knock the hinge pins out are the hinges that are on the seatbox etc, cheers Dennis
