I'd say that Mike Jocobsen's departure a while ago has turned back the tide. He just seemed to have an indifferent attitude to anything non Tojo or Nissan, and went to great pains to denegrate Land Rovers and Jeeps because they hadn't "changed for the better" in all these years.

Having read the post, I went to the newsagency all excited, thinking cool something to sit down and read in between ad breaks, and lo and behold, no new issue. Not a happy camper. For me 4WD Monthly usually is a week ahead of the newsagency but I'm getting sick of Overlander turning up 2 weeks after I see it in the newsagency. Not going to subscribe anymore to FPC :evil: and you don't even get any free stuff unlike 4WD Monthly.

Yep I agree I generally read the Overlander mags in the Newsagency before buying them to see if they're any good
