Wet foot wells

Both front foot wells are continuously filling with water in my D3. I am assuming it is blocked drain vents from the condensation. Anyone know how easy or hard it is to fix this and where to start? I’m pretty sure it involved removing a good part of the dash when this happened on my D2.

Start underneath, check the AC drains.
Then check scuttle panel isn’t blocked each end,

As Tombie said check all that and if you have a sunroof check the drains and that the pipes are connected all the way down.

However there is a design issue with A pillar and its outer trim. There is a tech "advice" and fix on this from Landrover UK - I do not have it to hand,

Basically water runs down the outside of the A pillar and into the holes that the external trim clips into and then down the inside of the A pillar and into the inside of the car - result is wet or damp carpets. Basically the fix is to take the external pillar trim and retainers (clips) off and with something like gaffa tape put the tape over the holes in the pillar. Put a little sealant around the points of the clips or even on the bits of tape and put the trim back on.

The tape basically seals the holes and when the clip is pushed through when refixing the sealant seals any thing missed.

On my car, after checking the AC drains and still getting water in the footwell I came across the tech advice and followed it - fixed my damp footwells.

Thanks both. I don’t think it is the A pillar problem or at least not primarily that, seems to be happening in dry weather with AC on.

any advice on finding and accessing the AC drains?
