Hi,
I have looked for this info with no luck.
I want to put some 285/75R16's on my 110 ute, it has a 2"lift.
Dynamic rims offer a +6 offset and a -25 offset.
Do I need to go with the -25? or will the +6 rims give enough clearance that the tyre wont hit the control arms.
It wont be a major deal if I need to go -25 because my tray at the back will still be wide enough to cover the tyres and I can probably get away with the tyres at the front slightly sticking out because of the bush bars that come off the bulbar and go down to the side steps. [bigwhistle]

I have compomotive 8.5x16 -5 offset.
285/75/16 are a snug fit with std flares.
The -5 gave me back some turning circle.

6 mm offset should be good.

Would this be the same on a 130 standard height with flares?
16x8 rims and 285/75r16
Whats the exact offset to ask for? front & rear

On my 130, I have 285/75 R16 Mickey Thompson MTZ's on 16 x 8 zero offset Dynamic steel rims. Have been running this combo for years. Tyres are just on the edge of the front flare. I've added a garden edging flare to the tub at the rear.

How do you find that size? Would you change if you had your time over?
I priced up a set of Dynamics 16 x 8 with 285 x 75 x 16 MT
The fella said I’ll need 25 offset?
No problem about the flares because I’m wanting a set anyway.
Can an anyone see any issues on standard suspension?
Any pics of your rigs with different combinations would be great

285/75 on zero offset should fit but i suspect different tyres will protrude more or less than others. The neg is the loss of steering lock. 285/75 on neg 25 offset will fit and keep steering lock but will likely protrude beyond the flares. 255/85 n zero offset is a more natural fit and keep steering lock. Both those tyres will fit under a 130 on standard suspension.

With the -25 offset, the tyres will definitely hit the flares when you stuff the wheel in articulation. Most wheelz are sold with 0 to 10 mm offset as this makes the tyre just barely clear the flare.
