My first video upload !!
This was a trip we did in 1983. The shorty was fitted with dual tanks, 3x Jerrycans, Holden 186 (yuk) McNamara diff lock & PTO Winch. The first pic shows what happens if you don't bother to get out & unlock the Diff lock between high speed gravel sections. !! Original Lovicks hut pic also shown.
Whilst some movement around the winch cable might have seemed risky, we had given it a fairly good workout by then & load was well below previous winching.
The original track cut through Wonnangatta valley, newer track now follows higher ground. After 4 hours we came across a convoy of 7 vehicles who spent 12 hours- plus overnight- getting out of Wonnangatta. They wouldn't believe we had left that morning.
