Reconditioned Engine Brisbane

I have a Series 1 Disco with a cooked motor (petrol 3.9 and definetely head and probably liner shot) that is remarkably still running.

Can anyone recommend someone in Brisbane area to put in a reconditioned (using mine or a swap) motor with existing or maybe capacity bumped up? Thanking you in anticipation

A new short engine is usually cheaper than reco.
Try Triumph Rover Spares, Graeme Cooper, or The Land Rover place near Nambour, which I cannot remeber the name of right now.
Triumph Rover are also advertising a complete 90K Disco 3.9 for $2750?

Guys thanks for the excellent advice. I am now proud owner of a good priced, low k, warrented 4.2L stroker (from Triumph Rover Spares Adelaide) that is on its way to Warren & Dwayne at MR Automotive here in Brissy.

The extra grunt down low eases some of the pain of wife toasting the original.
