View Full Version : DEF-90 Upgrade ECU and Window Tint

G'day guys....Just had my DEF ECU upgraded last week and very pleased with the results... Now 130KW and 420NM so you can imagine iyt gets moving now...Cost $900 from Ritters [LROCV Discount $100]. If you want some good bang for buck, the Chip upgrade is worth it....

Window tint cost $270 which I believe is a good deal as i was quoted a lot higher by other vendors...

Very nice, Def90!

How do you **** your bottom end now - is there any improvement down low that you are yet able to discern?

Before there was quite a lot of lag at low revs, that has now gone and the mid and upper range is a lot stronger now too. It is much nicer to drive from that point of view and the torque/power is very noticeable...I also tow 2.25 tonne boat so looking forward to seeing the impact on that....

so that chip upgrade was just the chip??? no intercooler???

from what ive been told i think it would be better to drive to ritters
than get b davis to do the job???

i paid 30k for my window tint, sill bugger threw in a free D90

Ritters did do the job which was good.....no intercooler yet - thats another $1800-$2,000 and takes it to 150KW= and 500NM+....I dont have that sort of cash for performance...

Coopers are currently 265/75s....

On the cheaper side, where did you get your windows tinted? I could probably afford that.

Actually My DEF was in at ULR for a service and I arranged it through them so they just charged my the cost. Actually I have been very happy with their service and willingness to go the extra mile....unusual these days...

Cant remember which company, tint a car maybe? I will check it out...

G'day Hiline....my DEF is normally down the Peninsula but often up eastern burbs....
