More research...
Looking at off road tyres for a P38 rangie (late '95 > '01).

I think the std rim seems to be an 8Jx16, and most have 255x65's HT's.

That would suggest that a 10" or 275mm wide tyre would be not extreme??
What profile if you went to a 275 would still fit?? 70 or 75?
Anyone have any info on what will work on a P38?

You may have seen this already but Range Rovers net has some pretty good info up 32" tyres.

Yeah its a great site if you join their forum it is all p38's and I have found so much good stuff on there its not funny. Some of the yanks dont have a clue about off roading but in general all the problems and bits and pieces for the RR have been covered at one time or another. Quite a few of the guys that are here with p38's are regulars there. Some Aussies are there only and not here which I find a little wierd. here's the link.
