View Full Version : Seat upholstery & Door Trim Options?

The front seats are starting to get a bit ratty and the door cards were previously made using plain mdf without any moisture shield on the door (puff pastry door cards anyone?).

If I can find someone that sells the seat upholstery kit, I'm pretty sure I can knock it on with a little help from mates - yet I can't find anything online - does anyone have any idea where to get them from (if they exist)? As a minimum I need to do the front seats, but if the kit comes with the rear bench seat, I'd probably do all at once.

In regards to the door cards, I only want to match the colour of what's currently on, as in reality, I just want something I can mount speakers in!

Or anyone have any recommendations for people that can help and easy to deal with and give a decent product - in Melbourne? Nothing concourse, just something close in colour to what the original looked like - Not leather!

I got my seat covers from Rimmers in UK. Took about 3 months but really good quality. Door cards and lots of other stuff from Famous Four (UK) also very good.. They had them in stock and were with me in only a few days. Have used them a lot and they are excellent to deal with.Carpets and some other stuff you can get from Stuart Brown of Ausclassics who is on this forum. Good bloke near Geelong.

You're welcome to have a look at mine if you're down Mornington Peninsula anytime.

Thanks all - ended up going with Rimmer Bros panels as they were running a sale.

Took a while to get here, but pretty easy in the end... Just make sure you have the plugs etc to fit - don't cheap out on the latest little bits!https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2018/04/617.jpg
