Hi all, looking for a fuse to piggy back off of from the interior fuse box that could be used to provide an input to dim an auxiliary screen when lights are turned on.
I did a few forum searches and didn't come up with anything, so I looked at fuse allocation and my wiring diagram for VIN 551545 onward. I think fuse 24 would be OK, according to my diagram it has an LED driver for the RH side light within the RH Headlamp Assy, but also a 5W incandescent.
So, ...... given the wire is only going to provide a signal to indicate when to dim the aux screen, current draw should be minimal, may be a possibility of back feed which I could fix with a diode, other than that can not see any issues.
Any other ideas are welcome..............thanks
Peter
